The Road Less Travelled

The road to silence is traveled less
Paved are the paths with slippery mosses
Letting lose the burdens of civil masses
Not a single mention of any classes

Waiting for a moment when I want to get lost
Where silence roars and thoughts do blast

I flow like a wild river calming through the narrow pathways
To flow is to say that I must move on everyday

Today is the day I take off my inhibits
Leaping towards a rainbow of free exhibits

My soul is a flying bird
Gathering goodness in herds

This road I wish to travel on always
Hopping back from where I have lived anyways

It’s easy to run away but you want it that way
Having a day to just somehow run away.

Soaking the silence into my soul
Making me complete and keeping me whole

The devil in me is hiding away
For he too is afraid of the shadow he lays

Sometimes I wish to be a free bird
For only roaring wind to be always heard
I don’t want to live to be remembered
I just want to die with a few words
